<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, I've not been on this board for a long time, coz I have been busy with work and college. I am now a full time student at the Glasgow Metropolitan College (www.gcbp.ac.uk), oing my HND in TV Productions and Operations, and I have to say, I LOVE IT!!!!Originally posted by Vlad the Impaler:
Speaking of uni's... where is everyone at?!
I've missed about 3 days since the course started back in August last year coz it's just soooo cool! I get to play about with some pretty sh*t hot equipment, both in a studio and on location, I get to work with some great crews and i've learnt soooo much I never knew before!
My interview consisted of about 10 minutes of chatting about my previous experience, both working in local TV cable station and directing shorts... I happened to recognise some of the equipment the college was using and mentioned I'd used it, and I was in! Oh, and due to my student loan, not only is the course free (they pay tuition fees for me), but I get PAID for it!!! (Well, sort of!) ?1400 in my bank every 3 months! Hehe!
I'm sticking to the course, best thing I've done!
Oh, and it's in town! So I don't have to worry about student accomodation! (Just living with my GF!)
